Personal Care and Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s)

What are Activities of Daily Living?

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) are the essential daily self-care activities that individuals must perform to take care of themselves and maintain their independence.

For seniors or individuals with disabilities, ADLs can become more difficult to perform independently, and they may require assistance from a caregiver or home care professional.
